Smallville's 100th Episode

I won’t spoil it for anyone who didn’t catch the show Thursday night, but all I have to say is that the ending of that episode didn’t come as a surprise to anyone who has followed the show for the past five seasons.

The big question remains how long will Smallville continue before the cast decides to call it quits? I don’t see the WB dropping the show because it is very popular, especially with the younger viewers. Yet one has to wonder how long Tom Welling wants to play the young Clark Kent. So far his foray into motion pictures has not proven to be that successful, unless you want to count his minor role in the two Steve Martin films, Cheaper by the Dozen.

It is very possible that other cast members may also wish to move on to other projects as well. On the other hand if the money is good, and the network isn’t threatening to cancel the show, the cast may just stick around for a few more seasons.

They finally have found a good night for the show as there is nothing else on at 8 on the major networks worth watching. "LOST" really killed the show on Wednesday but the WB did't figure it out until too late.

I think the show is strong enough for another 2 years but even I am looking forward to a series finale.

I have met fans of the show that are a year behind becasue they are watching on DVD. I have basically missed a year becasue of LOST. I am back now and it is still good, but it is time for some major shakeups. The death of Mr. Kent went a long way in that direction.

For some unknown reason, the episodes are not airing in Canada "Faster than a speeding bullet" and they are several weeks behind. Why? Who knows? Did they have to do some kind of edit job before getting permission to air the show or something? WTF?
