Smashmouth Tributes on Radio

Its just been reported that their former lead Singer for Smashmouth had died. I don't know for now if there are any Oldies/Classic Hits stations with late 1990's/early 2000's playlists are running with Smashmouth songs for now given that the reports just came out.

They basically just had two hits, really: All Star, and Walking On The Sun. Their version of I'm A Believer (off the Shrek soundtrack) being a third. I doubt a Classic Hits station would go deeper than that.

Sad though that Harwell is gone. The guy had a great voice. At the time All Star came out I was more into Nu-Metal, but I always liked hearing Smash Mouth's songs. A great upbeat, almost retro feel to their music.

"All Star" and their version of "I'm A Believer" have gotten regular rotation on at least some notable Classic Hits stations.

They also had decent-sized hits with "Then The Morning Comes" and their version of "Can't Get Enough Of You Baby". Not sure if any Classic Hits stations will spike those songs or "Walkin' On The Sun" in.

SiriusXM's '90s on 9 had a production piece in tribute to Steve, which I heard leading into "Then The Morning Comes".
