Well Flip come 'Smoke on the Water' in Laughlin @ the Colorado Belle/ Edgewater August 14th so you can have another evening of fun hard rock with Deep Purple. Rooms are only $68, just got the mailer today! We have a few fine shops in Needles too for your Smokin' Oldies© needs!

I appreciate you lookin' out there HH. This would be an easy sell for me, but for Mrs. Flipper, uh, not so much. And the not-so-secret success to our marriage is simple - she is the boss. Now if they could come a bit closer, say to the Greek Theater, well, then I have a chance.
 
I remember "Smoke on the Water" being a hit when I was 11 years old; I thought it was the greatest song ever written and I still love it to this day. (For years in the '70s, if you played in a bar band, you had to play "Smoke...," it was like "Free Bird.")

I saw Deep Purple during their 1984 reunion tour at the Neal Blaisdell Center in Honolulu.
 
Who knows, kid? It's just a great rock and roll tune. That's my final answer.
