Smoky Mountains Rise

Just after it was announced that the "Dollython" was going to be on Great American Country, local stations (mostly on subchannels) are going to be simulcasting it, pretty much statewide in Tennessee.

In Knoxville, the "big four" it will air on WATE (6.1), WVLT (8.2), WBIR (10.2) and WTNZ (43.1)

Just up the road in the Tri-Cities, it will air on WJHL (11.2)

In Chattanooga, it will air on WTVC (9.1)

Here in Nashville, it will air on WTVF (5.2) and WZTV (17.2)

In Memphis, it will air on WATN (24.1)

I was wondering what other OTA stations will air the "Dollython"?

From what I could find the telethon will also be on RFD, AXS, and the Heartland Network, along with Feeds from USAToday.com, Tennessean.com, Knoxnews.com, dnj.com, and commercialappeal.com

I couldn't find anything definite about Jackson, but if WATN is carrying it in Memphis I think there's a good chance it could be on WJKT 16 in Jackson, since they're both owned by Nexstar.

This is one time that I'd consider to be a justified pre-emption, although I won't be surprised for it to be brought up in that thread.

Nashville: WKRN 2.1
Jackson TN: WBBJ 7.1
Tri-Cities: WKPT 19.1
GSAA: WMYA 40.1
Paducah-Cape: WPSD 6.3

James is right about Jackson. It turned out WBBJ carried the telethon. WJKT carried a University of Memphis basketball game instead.
