Smooth Jazz 102.5 Mono?.

Hey Clear Channel that Mono signal with stereo pilot isn't gonna make it.If you are trying to capture the old WLOQ listeners you need to come up with a full signal.

I agree !! so glad to get a smooth jazz station back but some days I can hardly stand the static and bleed from other stations.

I have it fine in stereo in my car, my home and in the office in Orlando. Here is the story from Radio Insight http://radioinsight.com/blog/headlines/netgnomes/53124/smooth-jazz-to-return-to-orlando/

Smooth Jazz To Return To Orlando
By Lance Venta on August 18, 2011 in Domain Insight, Headlines

Update 8/18: “Smooth Jazz 102.5” debuted on W273CA at noon today.

It is still operating on its Winter Garden area transmitter and will remain there until the moved-in facility in Orlando is approved and built over the coming weeks.

Original Report 8/17: Smooth Jazz will soon be returning to Orlando, Florida.

The two translators that Central Florida Educational Foundation had leased to Cox to simulcast 580 WDBO have been returned to their owner as Cox moves its programming to 96.5. There are also applications on file to complete their moves from Winter [Garden], FL to Orlando itself.

[EDIT*- truncated as excerpt exceeds that permissible under Fair Use]

The sound quality on 102.5 & 107.7-HD2 is like an internet stream.
I'm surprised their 250-watt signal goes pretty far listening inside the car.
Can anyone find a predicted area coverage map of 102.5?

Cool.
The 1st one looks like it's for an AM station.
The 2nd one looks like the current signal coverage.
My regular drive is from Apopka to Wet'N'Wild & I do hear the station well on my trip.
Thanks, Deano!
