Smooth Jazz coming back to Albuquerque?

I have it on pretty good word from a source that the next city to regain a smooth jazz station will be Albuquerque. And from what I'm hearing, it sounds like it'll be locally programmed.

I guess this smooth jazz radio renaissance (*slight sarcasm but still hopeful*) continues!

Great news, especially since it will be locally programmed. That's what I want to see. I can only hope our fellow RI Smooth Jazz poster ABQRadio has something to do with this project ;D. If he knows Steve Hibbard and appreciates his talents, then he knows a little something about this music. But if not, I'll be anxious to hear what they roll out regardless.

Maybe they can start up on KKRG's frequency of 101.3 like back in the mid 90s. I rather would keep KABQ Classic C&W. (104.7)
