Smooth Jazz could return to NYC on the 92.3fm analog signal

There is a rumor from some people who work at Broadcast Architecture that WXRK is going to flip to Smooth Jazz and drop Alternative. This station would air the BA network Smooth Jazz network.

New Yorkers would be glad to have their Smooth Jazz back on Fm radio. What will that station be called if this rumor is true? Smooth Jazz returned to Denver.

where do you get these "rumors" from? i highly doubt opie and anthony would have recently been signed on 92.3 only for them to go smooth jazz.

this is the same guy who said smooth jazz would return to boston on 93.7 a month ago LOL. how's that workin' out for ya 'sjfan'?

as a person who has followed the smooth jazz format for a while, i hate to say this, but nobody in a top 25 market that currently doesn't have an SJ outlet is going to touch this format the way it is incarnated right now. they'd be nuts to.
