Honestly how many ppl here actually LIKE smooth Jazz...

I like smooth jazz and listen to it quite often. However, there are certain times I avoid it like the plague, such as early in the morning and when I'm working. It's great when I want to relax but not so good when I don't.

Does anyone have a Razor Blade?

I love smooth jazz. I don't understand all the criticism of the format.

I've been listening to smooth jazz since the age of 9. I enjoyed it before SJ stations began to have an AC lean and adding music that had nothing to do with smooth jazz. There's still a lot of great SJ artists as well as some great classics, mostly that are forgotten and not Kenny G. I too like to listen to SJ when I'm relaxing, especially after a hard days work or just lounging around on the weekend. And come on, SJ is good "love making" music, much better than vulgar hip hop crap.

Congrats to the mile high city for the return of SJ, I just hope that Dallas and Houston will show a return to SJ on a main FM station, free of Ace, The Police (Sting is more suitable), and whatever else these networks put in the playlists that killed off SJ. God I hate Hot in Houston.

KORL Jazzes It Up
ALL ACCESS hears that the PACIFIC RADIO GROUP has flipped KORL/OAHU, HI to Smooth Jazz. More details when we get them, so stay tuned...

It looks like Denver isn't the only one.

I love Smooth Jazz as well, but as I've said time and time and time again on this forum, Smooth Jazz was MUCH better when it was at 106.1 instead of 107.5. I'll take either format, but I like 106.1's playlist a lot better than 107.5's.

The Police, Ace, Gerry Rafferty, Phil Collins (I'm a HUGE Genesis fan !!!) and the like do not belong on a Smooth Jazz radio station. There are plenty of true smooth jazz artists to fill up the slots that these artists were popped into.

Ive Tried to listen to smooth Jazz Several times
but it just doesnt fit me. I just cant get into it

So atleast i gave it a try ;)
