Smooth Jazz on WRPO goes 24/7

I'm saddened by the continued loss of smooth jazz staitons..they are soothing in an age of "new rock" and the remaining handful of "true" 50s/60s oldies stations which has been also singled out by the corporate radio elite.

There is some consolation in the form of a jockless online stream and an HD subchannel at:

While Smooth Jazz continues to become a dinosaur..there is one other consolation if you live in northern Logan County, Ohio near Indian Lake (northwest of Columbus...southeast of Lima.)

Only drawback it has beside the low power signal is that it broadcasts in mono and doesn't stream. But Gene Kirby's love for traditional jazz is the one who runs the station.

Mostly jockless and automated but does some live programming on Satrurday morning. A local talk/interview/small town information program followed by a one hour blues program and then a bluegrass program to keep it a local flavor.

How about some donations and some major underwriting out there from smooth jazz fans and maybe Gene can upgrade the signal just a little and maybe even possibly have some income to stream?
