Smooth Jazz on WXVU

Stumbled upon Villanova Radio today accidentally. All smooth jazz and even some artist liners from smooth jazz artists. Nice to hear smooth jazz on FM again around Philly! I'm presuming from the imaging this is something they are semi-regularly doing nowadays?

Maybe temporary fill material since the campus is closed for the semester. Normally you'd hear various student-hosted shows. But they're all sheltering at home, and they're not even allowed on campus.

The pandemic has caused a problem for some student-run stations. There's a thread about this on the Boston board.

Perhaps, but it sounded more permanent than that. Lots of artist liners and imaging about "smooth jazz on WXVU." Very professionally done sound. Even after the pandemic, this might now be their "filler format" when no students are on-the-air. Lots of college stations have filler formats during unstaffed times.
