I know how much some of you would die for that! ;D
A better question is, why do people think that had they kept the hawk instead, it would remain the hawk they know, and not turn into what they don't like about MGK anyway?Ladytalk said:Somebody please tell me what the difference is between The Hawk and WMGK? In your mind, what makes the Hawk a better station? I listened to both and found that 'MGK played more variety and had live jocks.
What made The Hawk so special? Inquiring minds want to know. Thank you.
I agree with you George. They need to promote that website a lot until the new year. They should have put that new trasmitter on the air this year, not 07.George Brusstar said:Getting back to the original point of this thread, I think Greater Media's WJJZ will do lots to keep tens of thousands (possibly hundreds of thousands) in the Philadelphia market from leaving terrestrial radio -- that is, once the transmitter is moved to Mermaid Lane. While 97.5 is currently unlistenable for much of the market, the station is wise to be promoting the webstream as a clear alternative for the time being.
