A couple of things.

Notice that they are not listed in the ratings? I guess CBS, which is still the official owner of the cluster, does not want the ratings for that station published. (Palm Beach Broadcasting is LMAing all the other signals right now.) I would have been very curious to see the real details of what happened when WEAT, the #1 station in town, moved to 107.9. It's hard to tell what exactly happened based on those 6+ numbers listed on radio-info.

Also, anyone else notice that 104.3 has no "punch" to the signal at all? I know that a softer format station should tone it down a bit, but even Easy 93 has some life to the signal -no pun intended. :)
 
Wait for them to move, they are currently a non-entity.
Everybody's radios are supposed to go up to 104.1 and then start again at 104½.
 
104.3 isn't actively selling and, thus, isn't subscribing to Arbitron. So, its ratings weren't published. It would've been interesting, however, to see exactly what its numbers were since both B-106.3 and Sunny 107.9 were down sharply!
 
Kill of sonny since 97.9 is a ratings monster for the AC market and make 107.9 an alt rock station called 107.9 the end

No. It's actively for sale, but it's not actively selling ads!

Also, according to the CBS Radio website, it still operates 104.3 and 106.3. However, CBS will sell them to a buyer of Goodman's choosing, which is how he's getting around the ownership caps.
 
The "smooth" format on WMSF is basically a placeholder format until after the station is moved to Miami and ultimately sold.

Yes, it would. BIA only shows 32 stations in West Palm Beach. Goodman is keeping WRMF plus three of the five CBS stations, which puts him at 4 FM's. That's the most he can own under the revised FCC ownership rules. CBS got West Palm Beach when it bought American Radio Systems in '97, and that was before the FCC started using Arbitron markets to determine the number of stations in a particular market.

It's true that Goodman could've sold one of the other stations and kept B, but it looks like he's dumping B-106.3 to keep the DOJ happy.

I think selling 104.3 was key to the deal... Goodman should get in the vicinity of $15 million for the station with the new CP, and will get one major signal out of the WPB market. Only 104.3 could be moved to Miami, so it was the one that offered a significant payoff of the sale price plus fewer future competitors.

After getting 104.3 into MIA/FTL, is there any wiggle room for a new Class A anywhere on 104 MHz, ala 99.5A Daytona Beach post WGNE 99.9's move from Palatka to Jacksonville?

Things have become a lot more complicated since that move happened.
Perhaps a translator or even an LPFM in Martin or Saint Lucie County or out the Everglades?
 
I'd think that Reach FM could make its 103.9 a class A or something, if & when the move happens....

I wonder if WWUS 104.1 will suffer more from IBOC hiss of 104.3 when the move happens if we drive in the upper & middle Keys.

The move meets all FCC minimum FM spacing requirements, so it should not be a problem.
