Snap 103.7 Lafayette applies for more power

Not content with a measley C3 3.4kw @ 930', KLWB has applied for class C2 15kw @ 930'. They also want to change city of license from Opelousas,LA to Carencro,LA. They will have two notches cut out in their pattern to the north to protect KHLA 103.5 and an unused 103.9 allotment to the northeast.

Damn if that happens, it will over power 103.7 the fox rocks out of hattiesburg for me during tropo:-(

But from what I saw, other than protecting KLAA, they cut the margin with 103.7 in Houston razor thin (less than a kilometer if I read it right)

FYI, the FCC last week granted a change in City of License for KLWB-FM - from Opelousas to Carencro, LA. Power change still pending, but expected...
