SNAP MORNING SHOW

I think t's only a few books from Syndication for the Snap morning Show.

If SNAP had a morning show.....and nobody heard it......would it still be there???

Must say, I listened and I'm not in love. I'll let them get their bearings in Memphis before I decide whether or not it's any good. Right now it's a little flat & hasn't kept my attention for more than 2 talk segments. And as someone in their target demo, they need to keep my attention!

Who are we to question the programming genius behind SNAP??? All hail Brad! ;D

seriously, who are these folks? anyone know where they came from?

I was watching Fox 13’s GMM one morning and I saw their “Idol Chatter” segment and it was the two from that station..I suddenly remembered that the station was on the dial and I hesitantly flipped down to check them out..In my MERE opinion, I rate the morning team as ok..I only stayed for about 4 minutes or so, but I picked up that the two personalities were polished, but also a bit canned at times and lacked a key ingredient to a successful drive time show here. Let’s just say the morning squad at FM 100 has the big picture, ‘DIA definitely does, and K97 has it (and it's deeper than heritage)..I’m sure if Brad is the programmer that he’s made out to be, he’ll find that missing element and have the two get to it ASAP. As someone else put it, the show really doesn't tap into their key demo, the two host have a good Top 40/CHR sound, but hearing them come out Barry White made me chuckle a little on the inside. Haven’t heard any other dayparts on 94, wonder how they're flowing?

radio head --- you might wanna pass those comments onto Brad.
You can e-mail him here or dial 1-900-YUM-DIAL(ER)

GO BRAD! GO SNAP! RAH RAH RAH

Sorry, Meepster, I am trying to turn up the heat....it's getting warmer and Leon is getting larger.....

To me they sound like every other boy/girl morning show in every medium market just like all the other corporate shows. There's nothing unique that's going to draw anyone over there...

It's gonna be a long uphill road...

I've tried to listen this week, truly I have, but even though I heard them say their names several times I can't for the life of me remember what they were.... the only thing that stands out is how they laugh at EVERY LITTLE THING "it's 67 degrees outside! hahahaha" "That was The Pussycat Dolls! hahahahahaha" "there's a four car pile up on I40 and dozens are dead! hahahahahaha"

I will withhold comment on the Show itself, though I might have my opinions. But, I will mention this:

I saw the Snap 94.1 van coming out of Oak Court yesterday. It, of course, has the new logo and artwork on it. But, they didn't bother to fully remove the old artwork. One can easily see the outline of the Buzz logo beneath the new logo. A bit amateurish, one might think.

To me, that's just basic.

Their names are Greg and Dani... I had to go to the website to look it up. I had wondered when they were going to launch this planet-stopping website & apparently they did with as little fanfare as they had when they launched the morning show... Decent site so far... it's very, um...blue...

Check out the profile for the Director of Rhythm... apparently he has a fiance....Who knew!

Where can one apply to be Operations Manager of Rhythm?

"Ladies and Gentlemen, Ms. Grace Jones. Slave to the Rhythm."

Work all day,
as men who know,
Wheels must turn to keep,
to keep the flow,

Build on up,
don't break the chain,
Sparks will fly,
when the whistle blows,

Never stop the action,
Keep it up, keep it up,

Work to the rhythm,
Live to the rhythm,
Love to the rhythm,
Slave to the rhythm,

Never stop the action,
Keep it up, keep it up,

Breathe to the rhythm,
Dance to the rhythm,
Work to the rhythm,
Live to the rhythm,
Love to the rhythm,
Slave to the rhythm.

Been hearing that song ever since I saw "Director of Rhythm" put to paper.
