SNL-Weekend Update

I've been watching lots of SNL via Netflix. I have noticed that, so far, every Weekend Update episode, Seth Meyers wears the same clothing. Especially he wears a maroon tie. Anyone else notice this?
 
Didn't notice this, but will start to pay more attention. Do you know how long these suits and tie go back?
