So how was the area Hartford Radio stations for school closings, traffic, and weather? I hope their were not any huge mess ups like WEBE had. Im sure the CBS stations were on top of it with information from WTIC 1080.
MarcB said:As usual WTIC 1080 and WRCH 100.5 were all over the closings. 102.9 The Big D as usual was directing listeners to its website for the closing information.

That's right they don't. I alternate my morning listening between 3 stations - Nancy & Buck on HOT 93.7, Jerry Kristafer on 102.9 The Big D, and Bob Muscatul (sic) on WMRD 1150. DRC-FM never does the closings. Sometimes Nancy on HOT 93.7 will read the closings. And apparently not too many people call WMRD report closings as they only have 2 or 3 per storm,

Wait, what was the thread subject again? ;D
