I actually thought that most of the Philly TV stations downplayed the hype on this one (at least compared to the usual "End of the world" menatlity used when inclement weather is expected).

They have to justify the millions of dollars in outlay for the Live In Fear Doppler Radar systems.

They did--this was a much more fact-based weather event. Compared to some of the storms, coverage was mild...but Nertz seems to hate everything about the local news.
 
Unlike Philadelphia, the Hartford area got 4 or 5 inches of snow out of this system. "So what!" you say? Sure! At least your stations don't name these storm sytems like CBS in Hartford does! (They called this storm Doreen.)<P ID="signature">______________

I have seen better local news elsewhere.
Here it is worst I have seen, but what are you going to do, read the crappy newspaper?

WCAU used to name the snow storms.

But WCAU color codes their weather center, which is stupid.
