Snow!

My question is does the average radio listener know that there is a news station on 101.9 FM. They have nothing to advertise their existance since the format change. The radio geeks and former listeners of WRXP know of it, but the only way others can be aware of it is through scanning the FM dial. I listened to 101.9 for about 30 minutes yesterday afternoon and thought their coverage was reasonably good.

Several articles have indicated that Merlin Communications did not want to promote the station till the kinks have been smoothed out. Given the way it sounded during its first months, that was probably a wise decision.
Now that they have a competitive product, it may make sense to start advertising it.
