The FCC has twice posted a 259C2 allocation for the northeastern Arizona city of Snowflake. That would be a 50,000-watt ERP at 150 meters (490 feet) on 99.7 MHz. Since neither auction drew any takers, the commission may delete the allocation (notice attached). This sounds like a station that could make a play for several of those smaller cities like Show Low, Holbrook, and St Johns. Why would no one want it?
