SNR to Sirius?

SNR is available online as is ESPN radio. There does not appear to be a 24 hour feed of FSR online though!

Yup. Looks like SNR is on Sirius. And apparently Dan Patrick turned down SNR.

FSR doesn't have a national feed, but there are a bunch of ClearChannel broadcasters that should have some part of the show as well as Jim Rome streaming for free. Go to sedanoshow.blogspot.com for a list.

I guess I need to get one of those XM/Sirius combo units now.

Fox Sports Radio
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Fox Sports Radio is a service of Premiere Radio Networks (a subsidiary of Clear Channel Communications). Fox Sports itself has minimal control over the network, it is simply branded as such per a two-way marketing agreement.

The network broadcasts from studios on Ventura Blvd. in Los Angeles. FSR broadcasts 24/7 sports programming and airs The Fox National Sports Report (sports headlines and highlights) every twenty minutes. The network is available on more than 290 affiliates across the United States and Canada, and can also be heard on XM Satellite Radio channel 142 and on WorldSpace Satellite Radio channel 501 (Afristar satellite). ...

It is hard for me to believe that a national sports network like FSR doesn't stream their programming online (except for what you can find from various FSR affiliates).

If the FSR national network does stream its' content from some website - I haven't seen it yet.

With the large number of people sitting at their computers from 9 to 5, 5 days a week, listening to online music, talk shows, and podcasts - you'd think it would be a no-brainer that such a big national sports network would stream their content online, as well.

I'm not talking some huge major website upgrade here, but add FSR streaming audio and link to some of the latest sports news stories (from Yahoo! Sports or somewhere else); maybe even throw in a couple online sports ads (to raise revenue for the website) - and you actually have a real website for a national radio network.

Seems sort of obvious to me.

True, I'd be fine with Premier streaming it instead of FSR (although I don't see why both Premier and FSR couldn't both stream it).

If FSR is expecting Premier to put up a website of FSR streaming audio - they've been waiting an awefully long time, with zero results.

With the increasing number of people sitting at computers all work day long (i.e. the growth of online radio) - I just can't believe FSR and Premier are passing up on these potential listeners.

I agree - The new FSR website needs a "Listen Live" button streaming for those listening while at work, or if they can't get it on radio at home

Good question! I asked the same question myself on here several weeks ago.

I thought someone else on here posted a few days later that Fox Sports Radio was planning to re-do its' website over the next few weeks (and hopefully, would include a "Listen Live" link).

I think it makes business sense for them to do so - with so many people listening to radio over the internet while at work (8 hours or more a day) and/or at home (where no FSR affiliate exists) - every radio station and radio content provider should have a "Listen Live" link on their website to capitalize on this emerging phenomenon.

Good news, sports talk has been a Sirius weakness. Have occasionally listened to Mike and Murray will go ahead and preset 123. Would even be better if they re-united Murry with Berger.

From what I noticed on Sirius' website, quite a few SNR shows are going to Sirius 123...
