Here's the way I see it:

I like Warren Ballentine from 9 to noon & Al Sharpton from noon to 3 weekdays. It's too bad Anchor Radio can't afford more Radio One shows because they have to keep 1240 WNVL afloat.

The local shows leave a lot to be desired: Carl Boyd Jr. is only slightly better than WVOL's T.J. Graham, and I don't know what the station is trying to accomplish with its pre-sundown show on weekdays.

The only saving grace on weekends are the "2 Live Stews" wannabes on Saturday morning, because it sounds like the rest of the weekend is a simulcast with 760 The Gospel...

So am I dead on about "The Big Mouth" or are you hearing something different than I am?
 
Dude you are crazy. Carl Boyd, Jr has the best show that is on. He is far better than TJ Graham. Have you listened to Boyd's show? There have been Senators, Governors, Dipolmats, experts on his show. You may not like some of his politics, but his show is very intellectual compared to Graham's show where they curse and use the n-word. You should go back and listen again. His show is up for 3 broadcasting awards.
 
The best show on there is "Nothing but the Truth" with Carl boyd, Jr. He deals with the issues and not the parties. At first I was very cautious about it, but after listening for awhile he seems to be the only one that is objective on the issues. He is also an indpendent which you don't find too many of this day and time. Most talk shows lean to the left or right, but Boyd is a Christian that hates both political parties. Listen weekdays 3pm to 5pm cst. It is a great show. Look at the quality of guests on the show.

sorry, but Carl Boyd is not half the personality that the Rev T.J. Grahm is. T.J. is the most entertaining announcer in the city. hi caller. you on da air.
