So has radio done it's job?

Some of the Mom & Pop stations did a good job. Music formatted stations only had their DJ's mention the situation between when they should have gone wall-to wall. News/Talk stations did a good job when they went wall-to wall, but WLAC didn't at first as I mentioned in another topic.

All in all, everybody did pretty good with what they had, especially WWTN.

I don't feel like radio did enough over the weekend. Monday, I noticed Gill and Valentine ran best-ofs on their networks so they could do local shows on their respective stations, which focused on the news facts. I noticed WGFX, WSM-AM, and WAKM focused on community service, getting word out, talking about where and how to volunteer, etc. I noticed even WNSR stepped up to the plate. However, music stations seemed to provide little more than music.
