Has Energys signal improved any, since the move to the higher stick with lower power. Does it make it into San Jose yet, or still suffer interference from that country station?

In an attempt to recapture the ratings they had a year ago, it seems that Energy wants to sound EXACTLY the same as they did back then. The old signal is back - now I get static on the Bay Bridge, less than 3 miles from their transmitter. Their playlist is becoming a joke - they've dropped numerous currents in favor of upping spins of several tired songs that have already languished on their airwaves for more than a year. Energy is definitely at a low point, creatively and musically. I'm not sure how much of this is new PD John Peake's doing, or if he'll be able to make the changes necessary to save this sinking ship.

I cant beleive they went back to that 300 ft stick. That stick is way too low off the ground to cover a very HILLY area like San Francisco.

The signal is as bad in San Jose as it was when they first began. But, it dosent matter to me. I stoped listening to them a while ago.

Yesturday, I got a email from Energy with a survey and how they can improve. In one way I'm glad they want feed back from listeners, but in another way, it's kind of pathetic if they don't have a direction of their own. It's a shame their going back to their original playlist and not pushing the boundries to not sound like another Wild. There is a market for dance music, its small in comparison, but its there.

They rarley dj mix, they spin foo foo dance music that is beyond the cheese factor and their signal is still weak in the south bay. Heck, I'd be glad if they threw in some alternative/electronic classics from the 90's and early 2000s. IE. Moby, Fat Boy Slim, Beck, Blur ect. Atleast they've had local djs perform on some of the specialty shows.

..on a side note..

is it true the resident Mix-ologist Trevor Simpson is leaving?
