Are they not playing Christmas music already. Their website listed Christmas songs yesterday.

anytime before thanksgiving is WAY too early, december 1st is too early. a couple of weeks before through new years would be okay.

but what is 94.9 going to be AFTER the holiday tune-fest?

Sadly they did the same thing last year and came back as the same canned and voicetracked waste of a great signal that they were before the Christmas music. All I can say is that they must sell the spots and make the money. The operating costs are low so if they are making money the ratings numbers don't matter as much.

The idea behind them playing Christmas music is according to "corporate surveys" Mix listeners want to hear Christmas music sooner than the day before Christmas and Mix wants to be the only one in the market providing it.....And its always talked about so as always, any smack is good smack, just like those *#*^%$ Crain commercials......
