KLUV/Dallas Polishes Up Air Staff
KLUV PD Peter Z has made some minor adjustments to the air staff at the CBS Radio-owned Oldies station. John Summers moves up from evenings to the afternoon drive slot, replacing Larry Dixon, who had been doing afternoons at KLUV on a trial basis. Sandi Sharp will slide into the evening shift from overnights with Summers' promotion.
KLUV's morning show, featuring market veteran Jody Dean, also gets a little polish with the addition of Randy Capes as "Stunt Boy." "We're planning on using and abusing him to the full extent that the HR department will let us," Z tells R&R. Finally, Bernie "Mac" Moreland is joining the morning show as its producer and as Dean's sidekick. Moreland was most recently at WNDV/South Bend, IN, and he will also wear the hat of Imaging Director for the station.
