I'm not, and never have been. Unless you count a couple of nights on the B.U.D. Select Zone. ;)

I used to do radio in college, but it never got any further. I did meet Phil Valentine the other day; does that count? :)

Consider Phil Valentine, you fared better than Gerry DiNardo.

!

(one hand raised...)

TV engineering guy, radio hobbyist/listener.

I am not in the business. I did work a few hours a week at a smalltime station when I was in high school.

I'm not in the business, just a fan of good radio. I know several people, both here and in Knoxville, that were once in the business. When I was growing up, my cousin and I would take a tape recorder and produce our own radio shows, with me spinning the records and being the DJ and my cousin doing the newscast. We both dreamed of being in radio but, by the time we both got into high school, we realized neither of us had the voice to be successful in radio and developed other interest.

I used to want to be in radio but I never got the chance. I do like reading about the inner workings of radio and TV though.
