Let the stunting begin. Today is the first day of the LMA for El Camino w/Simmons. They shut down the sports format just after midnight and have been looping the lament of a love lorn crooner ever since with a promise of the "Flavor of Mexico" on 1310. They will have to spice it up plenty if they wish to gain a niche in the market.
 
KKNS has certainly been sleepy in the market in the three months since El Camino Communications (Victor Camino) started the LMA. The application to transfer the license was granted by the FCC on January 22nd, and the sale has not yet taken place. Does anyone know how things are going at KKNS?
