Allaccess is reporting that Jo-Jo Morales is leaving K-104.7 at the end of the year to be closer to family near Atlanta.

Jo-Jo, I guess "EOM" did mean "End Of Morales" after all.  Just wanted to wish you the best of luck as you seek another position wherever that might be.  I enjoyed our little jousts here on radio-info.

I'm guessing that working at "K" was not all that you hoped it to be.  Not a pleasurable place to work from what I hear.  Then again, it might have been the TOO many weeks of Christmas music.  That would drive me over the edge.

At any rate, Good luck!

Thanks! Got a 2 month old baby at home whom I'd like to get to know a little better. He wasn't originally a part of the package when I took the gig here. Since there's a greater chance of an asteroid smashing into The Epicentre than my famiy and I ever moving to this town permanently, the move back home full-time is logical. (No offense to native Charlotans)

We jousted? I foget what I post on these boards less than a minute after posting. What others post in even less time. No worries. :)
 
BTW, I will NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER do mornings EVER again.

Just sayin'. ;-)

No clue. This has more to do with me than K, however. My family is rooted in Atlanta and I will not move them again. I have a new baby at home and I need to be there. Can't be away 5 days a week like I've been for the past year. And, to be honest, Charlotte didn't grow on me as I'd hoped it would.

Cest la vie. :-/
