So Tad Lemire really is traveling the world

I heard Chris Whitten explain Tad's leaving WCTK as him traveling the world, but didn't really take it literally...but All Access has the story. He really is traveling the world beginning with New Zealand & the new PD is Steve Guitarri from WYGY in Cincinatti. Apparently the search is still on for a morning guy though & these are big shoes to fill. Hopefully we'll hear Tad back on the air in Providence in the future. Actually, if there's no bad blood I think airing phone calls from him on the morning show from time to time from wherever he is would be a nice touch as it's going to take a long time for Cat Country listeners to get over not hearing Tad.
 
I don't know long he's going to travel the world and you can never guarantee a job you want in a market you want to work in is going to be there when you get back but Lemire has the talent to get back in when he's ready. Still a brave move considering most jocks think the world will end if they're off the air more than a week.
