John Evans is on KFDC, Jeff Blazy is on KXFX/101.7 The Fox in Santa Rosa and I think "Your Weird Old Uncle" Frank Bennett is on KUFX/98.5 K-FOX San Jose. I really wanna know what happened to "Dancin'" Mark Hanson?

Bonnie Simmons is on Thursday evenings, 8-10 p.m., KPFA 94.1 Berkeley, CA.

Weird Old Uncle Frank is now (Weird Old) Aunt Fran. She had a much publicized sex reassignment surgery after which KUFX had her on for a few shows. She and her wife (who also had been in the "biz") remained married after the surgery, at least for a time.

A search online may turn-up the Bay Area news reports (videos are lurking somewhere) of all this. Last time I had seen anything about it was about 4 years ago.

The last I heard Bill Evans was working for one of the satellite companies. XM, I think. And, Weird Old Uncle Frank became Fran.

Ron Lyons has improved and is at home and continuing to recuperate. He's not out of the woods but apparently his speach has improved, as has his spirits.

Bill Evans programs the XM Cafe station and has done for awhile now.

John Grappone is currently out of radio having left KINK FM but is still in Portland.

What ever happened to Mark Lennartz? He did Mornings at 103.7 KLOK-FM
from 1984 until the station was sold to Brown Broadcasting in 1987 when it
became "Smoth Jazz KKSF 103.7," which is now owned by Clear Channel.
Does anyone know what he's up to these days? Please let me know.

What happened to John Shrader and Bruce McGowan KNBR sports reporters who were let go after Cumulus bought the station?

Tom Brown died over 5 years ago. I can't remember of what. Stan Dunn? Hmmm...don't know. Think he might've passed away, too...but, I could be very wrong on that.

John Shrader has popped up on KCBS doing weekend sportscasts...he took the spot vacated by Kevin "the rat" Radich, who now replaces Larry Krueger doing afternoon sports at KGO.

Bruce MacGowan sometimes writes columns for the Marin Independent Journal but is not on radio last I heard.

John Shrader does interviews and hosts the between-periods breaks on San Jose Sharks telecasts on FSN Bay Area. He also teaches broadcasting at San Jose City College.

CJ Bronson is in Minnesota! (not WI).

Yeah, right. And how exactly would you know that? ;)

DJ

DJ , CJ did work at a newspaper in MN. that was owned by my former employer Knight-Ridder and they mentioned her in an article in our "in house" employee magazine. I believe she is in the classified department or was (knowing newspapers like I do) it's as bad as radio gigs these days.
