So, When did Al Sharpton become MORE powerful than the FCC?

I cant believe CBS and NBC have both caved in on this [EDIT] called Al Sharpton. Where do I protest against against Al's show? What station's carry him? Two Part 15's in the Desert and an affiliate in the middle of the Atlantic? I did not know Al Sharpton even had a show until two weeks ago.

Hey Al or any of your flunkies. Go away with your 5 supporters and move to a deserted Island and take Jesse Jackson with you. YOU do not run the airways the FCC and the public do. Grow up and Brush this off. The man appoligized. Accept it and Move on. I am sure alot of us here on the Radio- Board had to accept someone calling them a bad name at one time or another.

GO AWAY...........

IF anyone does happen to have a problem with this post you can email me directly at [email protected] and talk to me like an adult I will be happy to respond in an adult manner.

I am P.O. ed on this one.

Don't give Sharpton and Jackson credit for removing Imus from the airwaves. The decision that led to Imus' firing had to do with big money sponsors bailing. Sharpton and Jackson are hypocrites. Where was the outrage when both men made derogatory remarks against Jewish people? Neither of those two men have apologized for Hymietown and Jewelry Merchants. While I do not condone what Imus said about the college basketball team, it makes me sick that those two (Jackson and Sharpton) are strutting around thinking they have such power to get people like Imus fired. If Jackson and Sharpton are serious about improving race relations, then go after these rap artists for their denigrating lyrics against women.
