Ok...so the latest trend confirms what has been happening all along...NO ONE IS LISTENING.

The next step is, if they intend on keeping the format, when do they move shows like Adam Carolla and the Radio Chick out and move in something live and local?

They already have the grey area night show, they have the effer show on saturdays (btw..heard them on Sunday too and they sounded good. Are they now on both days?) and with JV and Elvis in NYC, they could do their show live in NYC and be live in SF too.
 
Free-FM is so stupid. I think it's the whole contract thing with Corolla and he has to stay on in San Francisco. Not to say his show sucks or what not, cause I really don't listen to comment on the quality of his programming. But no one wants to tune in to Corolla because they frankly don't care.

Smartest move they can and should do is put The Dog House in 6-9, which just so happens matches their NY time slot. Also move Strawberry and friends into the weekday line-up, somewhere, somehow. Put them on in the afternoons or nights.

At least they have A's baseball?
 
Its not a matter of being local thats the problem. The problem is I don't know one woman who listens to this station. It's like a bad frat. But don't worry it's not gonna be around much longer, then people can go back to talking about the Doghouse moving back to Wild.

Great post Jim.

I post on all the Free-FMs because I want the Dog House, or John London to be the face of the station...not shows I really don't care--nor does anyone care to listen to.

When you have a new station, there has to be a reason to want to tune in...

And I guess for you, Marcus and Drew do that for ya...
 
Face it, Doghouse and John London will NEVER be on FreeFM. doghouse didnt like the terms and walked away and well you know about john.

And over on the NY board you are saying that 12+ is what it is all about....Make up your mind....All shows have a demo and you know it.

Wow! That is not what I said there at all. 12+ is meaningless. Scary that you could take that away from what I said. I pointed out you kept claiming they were #1 overall, without giving a specific demo. I could make at least 12 morning shows in SF #1 if I played with the demo.

Now thats funny! I went to NAB once, it was in Vegas. Didn't see one exhibtion, saw lots of 17's on the Roulette Table. 2500 worth
