i know a while ago, this discussion came up on this board. someone mentioned back then a "few days to a few weeks". kday is still here, any idea on when it is flipping? is it flipping at all? i am sorry i just want to see this station go away, is that bad?

KDAY is rumored to be for sale. A couple of former broadcast owners, among others, are rumored to be kicking the tires.

I think this station might have a little bit of life in it if they go Classic R&B. Songs from the mid 60's thru the late 80's. With good promotion, it might work. The problem again is their signal. But believe me, everyone of all races and ethnicities loves the 'ol classic R&B music in Southern California.
Let's see what happens.

Everything is for sale right now just about. They paid $120 mil for it... so they'll have to wait for the market to come back to recoup their investment.

Everything is not for sale right now. They are going to take a tax loss on it. It will NEVER fetch $120 million EVER. Think more like $30-$40 million from what I am hearing.
