Last time 93.9 played Christmas music leading in to a format change was when 93.9 the bear (Country) Morphed into 93,9 the christmas Channel. and on Christmas Day at 6pm the Christmas channel morphed into 80's oldies as Retro 93.9. So I'm Surprise that 93.9 didnt actually flip out of Christmas music and the Song yet as of 7:30pm on Christmas day like they did 4 years ago. Or will 93.9 keep going Xmas or Stunt till January 1 or will they flip to Talk in the morning at 6am with Mancow. Or will they do it at Midnight with what ever they plan for their over night programing.
 
WISG/WFT was still running PSAs for "The Song" this morning. Rule #1 of a format flip - get all your ducks in a row before flipping. And at least one Christian book store client still had a spot on this morning. Just didn't flow. It also seemed like Bruce Kopp's and Chuck Lofton's news/weather updates were way out of place on the station... Would work on WFMS or the Song, but not during Mancow.
 
I would agree with qskyradio... the stream this morning was carrying Mancow
not The Song as they said they would be with format change. Also...Dr Dobson
aired over the stream coming out of Mancow ... Wow! Dr Dobson and Mancow?
Some spots will air...it always happens with changes like this.

I do like the prank phone calls Mancow ran this morning...archived ... was the
Mancow show live today or also something from the archives? The times
were off a bit for the local and satellite stuff meeting each other...picking
back up in the middle of an interview or commercial. Some bugs to work
out.
 
Realize that the webstream and the HD2 subchannel are two different things. The webstream probably will always carry what's on 93.9fm on an Indianapolis car radio, while an HD2 stream will have the old "Song" CCM format. Whether or not Susque...I mean Entercom streams "The Song" is yet undetermined.

ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm if I recall right Cumulus owns both the HD 2 station the Song and FM talk 93.9 not Entercom. Unless they traded the 93.9 for either 99.5 or 107.9 or even 1430. Listen to the Legal id's for 93.9. it says 93.9 WWFT a Cumulus station

Plus with Cumulus already saying they will stream the HD2 version of the song on the 93.9 the song website is another proff they will still stream the song online. Clear channel streams all their HD2 statiosn even in markets they dont stream the Original station (One market CC Streams HD2 and not the Regular station is Birmingham Alabama
