From the early indications, Giant Brian was to arrive in the Atl on 8/6. I would hava assumed a couple of week to set the show up but it is going on a month. I would have though the week of Labor Day would have been a target date. Trouble at the Project already with their new morning show?

As a public service to Radio-Info members, I checked both Web pages associated with the show. Here's what I discovered during my exhaustive in-depth investigation. The Giant (http://www.giantbrian.com/) has placeholder homepage with nothing but the text "The Online Home of Giant Brian" on it, and Perrynoid's myspace page (http://www.myspace.com/TheCosmicCircus) has a blog entry from 8/22 with lyrics from a song:

The META tags on the giant's page did reveal an interesting fact. There is absolutely no reference to Atlanta or Project "196".

Always good to hear that someone is having success in the mucked up industry of cookie cutter formats, and syndicated clones. Who knows? maybe if we EVER get to hear Giant Brian, he might be a success as well. Even though I think Perrynoid will get lynched at a Chili cook off eventually...

This whole post typifies everything about radio-info.com. A bunch of wannabe radio dorks (yeah, I know there are one or two of you who actually work in the business) angry at Chris Williams for not debuting his morning show when THEY feel he should. In the meantime, all he's done at Project, so far, is succeed in making 99X his b---h. He has no reason to put that show on until he feels it's ready...but I guess he should consult here first with the confederacy of dunces to make sure that works for them.
