So, who is it going to be?

Saga sounds interesting, and they sound like a radio / media company that 'gets it'. Doubtful for Nassau, we hear they enough on their plate. Doubtful for Pamal too, though you can't rule them out. Having Burlington would give Pamal a platform of stations from New York City to Montreal.. Hmmmm on that one. What about Regent or Citadel ? Regent has stations in Albany, Citadel in most major northern NY and New England cities. Would fit nicely within 95 Triple X / WVMT if they were looking go bigtime in Burlington. 92.1 would make a good southern signal to rebroadcast Triple X if that was to play out.

Always interesting isn't it!? My big girlfriend at cc and I are still workin' out the details on who's who in the buyin' game for B-town. She and I are not bettin' on Nassau, but you never know. The latest from the West Leb camp is budgets are gettin' cut again, sales are down, and money is being pulled from promotions! Boo-Hoo! To think this girl thought things were tough up here on the farm in Sharon! Ouch!! Just hope the Welldone can keep his pay in chech and our ol' cc friend Max Cady doesn't upgrade to a double-wide down by the river! That would be a down right train-wreck, then again, what's new!? Such the life of a ol' groupie girl like your sweet Mary! Keepin' it real for my boys at Benning St.! Hot Dog!!

Ms. Mary ;)

No one in town can afford it. Some in town can't buy it because they would own too much wattage with the signal that Star 92.9 has. Early offers of $14 -16 Million were scoffed at. Word is that CC Burlington is being offered as part of a 6-8 cluster package. Would have made sense to package it with the Upper Valley - but Shapiro's already got the lock on that. I'm told the CC Burlington Extended Boxed Set will not be sold for less than $30 - 50 Million. Any Powerball or Mega Millions winners out there itching to own some stations?

Since when are there limits on how much wattage one can own within a market? I thought the limits were based solely on the number of stations.

Not sure - my questions on that subject have been unanswered, at least not to my liking. My assumption is - it must be a decision handed down by the VT Public Service Board.

<Since when are there limits on how much wattage one can own within a market?>
They aren't - it's only based on the number of sticks you have... and that 30 to 50 million number for Burlington... wow! Could that possibly be correct? Could anybody every make their money back on that? (especially with all the rate whoring going on in New England)
