So, who'll be the headliner on WTQR?

Has anybody heard anything? We may just have to wait until next week to find out about WTQR's new morning show. Maybe they'll movie Angie into that spot, or will they bring in some hot team from out of market, or will they syndicate something? Syndication would be my guess. WTQR has been in a world of hurt, so they're probably looking to cut costs. But, if they want to win against the PAW, they better be thinking "live and local".

I hadn't heard of "Rick and Bubba", so I just visited their website. I think that's a pretty good bet to be the new WTQR Morning Show. Good call dittohead. I didn't see if they're owned by CC, but if they are, it's probably a shoe-in!

I don't think they're owned by CC or distributed via Premiere, but it certainly would cut down on local avails if you take the syndicated route.

Maybe Bob & The Showgram will move westward with "White Trash Mornings" or something.....

Someone mentioned on another radio web site that "John Boy & Billy" could be heading here and that
"Bob & Tom" would be on the "Buzzard", i can't see this happening.
