Heck, of course anything could happen with any of those, but...
KHJZ: down from what they used to get, but attractive target demos. Safe for now; perhaps tweaking the playlist would help--excessive burn on too many tunes.
KKRW: Perhaps getting tired, but I would bet their Male 25-54 is much better than the 12+ numbers, and is sold in combo with KTBZ and KBME for male targets.
KIOL, KFNC: No changes on either until the Cumulus/Susquehanna takeover/reorganization is finalized. Then...what do you do that would work better on these signals?
KROI: Sticking with my prediction of no change until after the Spring 2006 book. Recuerdo is gonna damage them. I'll beat the drum yet again for Urban Gospel here.
KHPT: Bob? Who knows? Hoping for a nice surprise here.
KLDE: Station sounds much better after recent playlist/targeting/technical changes. They're dumping unwanted 55+ listeners and bringing in the later Baby Boomers. I think they'll be around for a while longer.
> My thought: KHMX to Top 40 competing with Cumulus' new KRBE.
There has long been speculation about CC "Kiss-ing" the 96.5 frequency. But they wouldn't have brought in Sam Malone if they were going to do that. Mix might be doing okay with the younger female audience, which would be a good sales combo with Sunny 99.1. KKRW and KODA skew 35+, while KTBZ and KHMX lean the opposite.
