Since there are so many experts who read this board...wanted to post a question--who are the up and coming talent in the market? Jim Scott will be gone someday, so will McConnell and Willie and we know Burbank is done at the end of the year. We just lost Jerry Thomas (thank God) and that sums up the talk talent. In five years, I would bne suprised to hear any of the above on the air.

I think Scott Sloane is great, but that might a minority thought. Gary Jeff is a boor. Scott Fitzgerald is a 'chip of the OLD block,' and Dougherty will get burned out doing two jobs. Furman has run his course. In a few years, Gary Sullivan will be put out to pasture and isn't Marilyn Harris already dead? Aren't they using computer voice generated shows like Paul Harvey?

Good question and I haven't even seen much speculation on Burbank's replacement. Several years ago it was thought that Eddie Fingers might move into that slot. Keep the supporting cast and have a "zoo" concept?

I think Scott Sloan is awful.

I don't think any of the current "secondary talents" in the market are worth keeping. Who else is available?

I'd like to see Sterling back on the Big One.

Sterling has really grown as a host. Don't know where he would fit on WLW.
