You know, they have some pretty good shows. But the station's a
technical nightmare. Every time I listen, within just a few minutes
there's either dead air or two spots running at the same.

You know, KPLEX....

...I was wondering the same thing. It was a good thread that offered two different viewpoints with both sides being argued for intelligently and respectfully.

But y'know...que sera, sera.

Answer: it had pretty much run its course. We know that Adguy doesn't like BizRadio. We know that you support it. If there's anything new to the conversation that anyone can bring, there's nothing stopping you from opening a new thread.
______________

I sure would like to know who pressured Radio-Info to pull the thread. KPLEX is absolutely correct. No personal attacks with intellegent banter. Isn't that what this board is all about? Shame on someone for not only caving to pressure, but someone else for bringing pressure to bear. For the record, I don't dislike BizRadio. Quite contrary, I love the format and its execution most of the time. I just had a poor experience with its owner and like it says above, que sera, sera.

Let communism live somewhere else, not on this board!

I should say OSR is absolutely correct, but kudos to KPLEX for some good arguments.

Noone pressured me to do anything. Period. I just have had enough of reading the same stuff over and over, and made the decision to close the thread on my own accord. The posts have not been deleted and still can be read.

You had a bad experience with Dan Frischburg. We get it. You've been posting the same story for about a year on Houston and now here on Dallas.

If you want to talk radio, then talk radio. If you have an axe to grind, use someone else's server.

FWIW

Biz Radio had a booth and a couple of people manning it at last night's Taste of Plano event. BTW, don't believe the side of the bus with Jim Cramer's face plastered all over it, they lost him when he changed distributors.

Also, KHYI and KLAK were there.

There have been (and they continue at this time) some posts that have have lasted far longer than the Bizradio post without lines crossing them out. A few have outlived their usefullness if I surmise your guidelines correctly. So the question is ,why are they not treated the same way? Thanks.

Speaking of Jim Cramer...

What's funny here in Houston, is that his show moved from the new BizRadio outlet KXYZ, to the old BizRadio outlet at KIKK, which has been running CNN Headline news since leaving the buisness format. Talk about irony.
______________

In fairness to John, while their have been some questionable material posted on both the Dallas and Houston boards, he does a good job of getting it removed from the board in a timely manner. We may not always agree with what stays and what goes on the board, but overall, the job he does is fine.

It could be a whole lot worse, too...for example see the Cleveland board. Their moderator (XL) is abusive to his posters. Thank goodness we have, who we have.

Yep Cramer signed a contract with CBS.
