Since 95% of the board hates Spanish-language radio, my guess is most of them will hope for the failure of both KZZA and KFZO.

My guess is not much will change...both don't fully reach their target audiences to begin with, which is why they are always in the mid to low-1 share territory. The 99.1 facility is weaker than the 106.7 facility...particularly in south and east Dallas County. Even if 99.1 lines up a stronger set of DJs, 106.7 has the better signal of the two. My guess is the two of them will likely remain close together in the ratings.

Like KZPS and KDBN sharing a classic rock format, this format seems large enough to make one successful outlet, but not large enough for two.

The only way it would seem either one would be successful is if the other one went away...

Consider that Kalle also has the Luis Jiménez morning show, one of the best in the country.

Actually its 98.6% according to a research focus group ;)

Who really cares?!?!? This is a dumb thread.

I may have to agree... Domino hasn't had this much play in the blogosphere or the media since he was first hired on at KISS. Hell, he is probably creating avatars every day on this thing to muster up posts about himself... let's all give this a break and go back to "BlueStar Radio", "RaceTrac Traffic" or um, I don't know... what's Amy B. eating for breakfast while watching the View...ER... in her studio?! ???
