So...

finally made it to the Bourne Ultimatum...

Just not much happening on the radio these days. Though I mostly listen to talk and recently I have become bored with WILK's repetitive loop and have switched over to my i-pod.

GOOD MOVE!!!!!! ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)

Mondo video...nice question...Let's see....it's an interactive bulletin board so if there's no activity it's nobody's fault but your own. What's there to talk about? (besides the glory days of WCDL/WARM/WEMR...)

How is talk radio doing on FM for WILK?
How does the format sound on 92-1?
Are the rumors true that JR will change?
Why are Froggy, Magic and KRZ going down in the ratings?
What makes a good morning show in this market?
What promotion did you never do that you always wanted to?

how's that for kindling?

I really Like The Mix .. I'm Hearing A Lot Of Stuff On "The Q" I Normally Wouldn't Listen To Like Country

Cross-Overs And Modern Currents. Along With Classic Songs From The 80's & 90's Seems A Lot Of

People Are Tuning In At Work Or So I've Been Told By A Few People I Know That Work In Offices.

It's A Lot Hotter Than Magic 93. Much More Up-tempo At Night.

Smart move on the talent, too....I know both Keith & Shark....but as with all things time will tell, the station just may be beyond saving.

At The Bear, we were running promos for National Bear Month, where we were going to give away a bear each day of the month. Unfortunately, management had a problem with the promotion when the bear featured in the promo mauled our voice guy (Chris Corley), which caused a client to pull their advertising from the station. (And, I gained 31 new roommates.)

Fortunately, the GM at the time - who blocked us from accepting any business from adult video & novelty stores and "gentlemen's clubs" - was just about to leave, so the income would be easily replaced in a sales promotion dubbed "THE SMUT IS BACK!!!!!" That vibrator store in Berwick helped save my job.

Man oh man, my comments on the last three posts: Deja Vu.

Deja Screw: Took a low-paying job in radio again.
Deja Poo: Same old crap on the dial.
Deja Cue: I thought I had that cut locked up before.
Deja 'Roo: Somebody just played two Aussie bands in a row.
Deja Zoo: LA Tarone's comeback as a dj.
