SoapNet

Does anyone know when SoapNet is going off the air? Our cable company still carries it and Dis Jr as well. I had a feeling they were not closing it down because they added Veronica Mars the day they were to shut down. Not that I'm complaining I LOVE the 90210 reruns.

Charter in Jackson, TN has finally added Disney Jr. in both analog and HD, but they're still carrying Soap Net as well, I guess until it finally fades away.

It was tough when they lost The Young and the Restless to TV Guide Channel. I admit Saturday and Sunday mornings tuning in to watch 90210. Hard to believe it went off 13 years ago.

Looks like Comcast will be shutting down G4 in January because it was primed to be The channel that was supposed to replace by The new Esquire Channel-But, instead it replaced StyleTV after a long promotional year touting the new channel that started out earlier this year on G4. It was supposed to start in April of this year, and it was moved up to this summer. The last remaining show on G4-"American Ninja Warrior"-would move on over to NBCSN, while the shows that were previously on StyleTV-Tia & Tamera, & The Rancics-could go over to Bravo or Oxygen-Both channels are now owned by Comcast.

Verizon Fios already removed G4 about a month ago.

Why don't they keep and rename soapnet something else and put on old 90's shows Party of five, Beverly Hills 90210,Melrose Place, Silk stalkings, and others I can't think of right now. If I was head of programing i would at least give it a try. So many other channels on air that have little to no ratings and they are still on the air, So why not try it?
