He's out of Delray Beach. Eggars actually broadcasts his show from a radio station.

By the way: The Beast (formerly of 'QAM) is supposed to have a show following Jorge Rodriguez.
 
Very cool about the Beast. It's interesting to follow this station as it evolves. Great to see internet radio give it a run down here.

The Beast is scheduled to start in a few weeks.
 
I've been listening...what they're doing is actually pretty cool is anybody getting paid or is this kind of like a campus all-volunteer venture?

The only money coming in is from sponsors, which I imagine is going for operations costs.

They're making no money...yet.

It was announced this morning on The Byron Eggers Show that the Beast will start next Tuesday (29 Sep 2009) at 3:00 pm following The Jorge Rodriguez Show.
 
Does anyone listen to the Jorge Rodriguez show?

It's not bad but I can't stand one thing.

The constant lip smacking. It's the same sound that a wet mop makes when put on the floor. It's just constant. I know this is a minor complaint but it makes it unlistenable. Check it out. Whoever it is and I'm guessing it's Jorge should take a sip of water.

Now I know why guys like Howard Stern are against lip smacking and throat clearing on the radio. Its disgusting.

Neil Rogers never stepped away from the microphone when clearing his throat.

Then again, he would rub olive oil on his feet in the studio and not wash his hands afterward.

Now that's disgusting!
 
he made no bones about being a pig! but it was all part of his shtick; the overwrought throat clearing, the belching, the gagging... i sure do miss him!
 
There's a couple of shows on SoFlo that I hear that arent listed on the site.

One is Darryl something, I hear Jorge mentioning it and I heard him call in. Both good shows.

Darryl is a rebroadcast from All Digital Radio.

On yesterday's show (Thursday 21 Jan 2010), Jorge called Sid Rosenberg (of WQAM) while Sid was on the air.

It's available in the archives of The Jorge Rodriguez Show.
 
I do see Love & Sex listed on the SoFlo site today. But Okay now what is the Pow Wow Show? I'm guess it falls into that same category as Darryl and Dan.


SoFlo needs their own forums.
