Soft Rock 106.5 first all Christmas Station in CT

I don't know when they flipped, but I was doing a band scan Wednesday afternoon and picked up a weak signal from Soft Rock 106.5 and they were playing Christmas Music.

Lite 100.5 should be flipping any day now. They already have it on their website and the other day their music director asked on Facebook when the listeners wanted the Christmas Music to start. Most said either Thanksgiving Day or Black Friday.
 
I think Lite 100.5 WRCH will be next by going Christmas on Friday possible.

On the shore does Star 99.9 and WEBE 108 both go Christmas? I remember Star 99.9 has in the past by going Christmas early in November.

As of yesterday afternoon Star and WEBE were both airing their normal format. I wonder if Star should even being doing it anymore. I mean the station is playing some music I've heard on CHR stations.
 
Seems that today Star 99.9 is now playing a Christmas Song every 2nd or 3rd regular song.

Just to give an example from the star999.com playlist on their website
Don't know if I would wanna hear the Beach Boys after Pink then into Nickelback. Going all Christmas would be better I think.

Last Friday was the flip, I believe during middays.

Listened in to Star on Black Friday and it seems this might be the first time they haven't gone all Christmas music. They're just playing a couple an hour.. Very interesting...
