One of the very few translators you’ll find in HD here.
I think he means the translator is rebroadcasting the HD3 of another station. You are saying K269GT is broadcasting in HD on 101.7?
If so, I'd like to hear this. There is supposedly a translator in Gainesville, FL operating in HD, but I could find no signal when I was there in May.
Both translators, one from Pasadena Area and one north of Houston. Also noticed there’s a LPFM close to Katy on 101.7. Is it on air? If so what is the format? How does it interfere with KNTE?There's about three or four different licenses in the greater Houston area for the 101.7 frequency. Which license are we exactly talking about?
When I had checked about a year ago they were off the air. Also noticed there’s a LPFM close to Katy on 101.7. Is it on air?
It’s been said on here it’s KGBC which is airing Power 105.3. GT has 2 places they’re operating from so that’s why you heard it battling itself. Their old location has no RDS and I believe they’re broadcasting from downtown as well and that has RDS.What’s the FM TRANSLATOR 101.7 K269GS near Pasadena airing? Yesterday while I was driving near I10 and Federal road I would hear it battling with K269,GT 101.7. But it was at first airing the same programming then it became very weak but could hear SALSA and Merengue in the background very soft.
It was not La Raza.
That explains why I heard a very weak Merengue rhythm on Beltway 8.It’s been said on here it’s KGBC which is airing Power 105.3. GT has 2 places they’re operating from so that’s why you heard it battling itself. Their old location has no RDS and I believe they’re broadcasting from downtown as well and that has RDS.
I haven’t heard KQEU on the air in quite some time when checking in that part of town. Had previously run Chinese language programming. No Silent STA has been filed, but not surprising as other LPFMs here have disappeared for long periods of time without any notification to the FCC.When I had checked about a year ago they were off the air.
Could it be that you were listening to Power 105.3 FM on KGBC AM and 101.7 FM?Short lived? Is currently playing Christian music in Spanish. Just heard them say CONEXIÓN
I’m not sure, I was in the Heights and also 106.9 HD3 was airing the same programming.Could it be that you were listening to Power 105.3 FM on KGBC AM and 101.7 FM?
I tuned in earlier today and thought it sounded religiousShort lived? Is currently playing Christian music in Spanish. Just heard them say CONEXIÓN
Is it going to 850 and 99.5 as possibly teased in the KEYH thread? Radio Dabang moving elsewhere?Word on the street is that SOL RADIO is on the Move. 10/1
