SOL RADIO

Might Sol Radio be something cooked up by the Power 105.3 folks as a possible new format for 97.5? Probably not, but I still have the odd suspicion we’ll wake up one morning to find a new Spanish language format on KFNC.

They already updated their facebook page and added the frequencies of 101.7 and 106.9 hd3 on their logo. And also saying stating Monday on a few posts.
Have a link to their FB page? I can’t find it; the online El Sol Houston keeps coming up.
Conroe really .. you sure your not hearing la raza?
K269GT gets out pretty well in the northern part of Houston metro. Signal crowded a bit in Montgomery County if you are too close to KLJJ. Co-channel KSAM coverage is rather limited outside Walker County.

None existent in key areas like Pasadena and Belair for sure.

Suddenly the new el sol radio out powers the 101.7 in Pasadena in Pasadena . Wonder how long before 101.7 in bay city realizes they no longer cover a chunk of Houston .

Sure you’re not hearing K269GS which rebroadcasts Power 105.3 via KGBC? BTW the audio on 1540 has been fixed.

KNTE coverage in Houston metro was mostly nonexistent, and at best marginal in urbanized Fort Bend County. It is a non-factor in the market, and IMHO Estrella/MediaCo should get rid of it.

Eventually they’ll will air Sol Radio in Pasadena too. Mark my words 😂.
