Stop the BS because unfortunate that misinformation is often accepted as truth by many individuals.

Anyone within range of K269GS in the SE side of the market that can confirm what that translator is carrying? KGBC 1540 is still running the Power 105.3 feed, as heard earlier today.

Has Sol Radio actually made it on the air anywhere?

Hold your Horses Astro i know you work for them and all but nothing personal here. I have told you before i know some of the talents because they have worked at univision but i dont know your boss or have ever even met the sdk franco bosses. this is about facts and rules that have been broken .. as far as a know a station and sublease a station and that is whats happening here. Point2 The company you are working is leasing out 101.7 out of Pasadena knowing that the people that are leasing it dont have a primary signal .. putting in danger the license that is owned by someone else. stop me if i'm lying. 3rd KGBC still shows (according to fcc ) as the primary signal for 92.5 that is also not true i mean you seem to act like i am making things up here but anyone can look up kgbc in the fcc files and see this. Again this is not personal i actually like power and think that even with a limited signal they have done great. You also claim that POWER has been feeding from Kgbc for an extended period that is also not true up to maybe 40 days ago it was la ranchera. Not power. Another detail the primary should be feeding the translator and we both know that this is also not true you have 2 Barrix boxes feeding from the studio and legally the feed should be hitting Galveston first and then downtown. I can go on and on. I can same the same thing about 104.5 and other translators but nothing personal i get you have to defend who ever signs your checks but lets not make it seem like its personal when I have no relation or dislike anyone you work with or for.

1. You asserted that KGBC cannot serve as the main station to transmit 105.3 FM K287BQ. That is incorrect/FALSE INFORMATION. The KGBC AM contours comply with FCC requirements for KGBC to be primary station for K287BQ .
2. "You mentioned that there is no transfer of ownership of KGBC to SDK FRANCO." FALSE AND WRONG AGAIN Franco neither possesses ownership of KGBC nor has any involvement with it in connection with KGBC. The ownership of the main station is independent of the translators, and the same applies to HD channels. Once more, there are unfounded allegations.
I cannot defend an individual who is violating the law, however, your accusations are unfounded. I cannot represent the individuals at 5353 W. Alabama, but I must address the inaccuracies in your statement. One might reference past discussions and allegations regarding translators' violations of the law, and I concur with that viewpoint. Some translators utilize Barix for audio transmission, allowing flexibility in how the audio is fed, provided it remains within the established parameters. Repeating a falsehood frequently can lead to its acceptance as truth.....

So i'm confused you say SDK FRANGO has no involvement with KGBC yet the paperwork filed clearly state that KGBC is the new primary station for 105.3 (i mean that is very clear on paper) Primary means it feeds the translator if the translator is ahead and the primary way behind how does the primary feed the translator i would love to learn that trick.

It feels as though I'm talking with my grandson. Allow me to clarify and correct you once more. You mentioned that ownership of KGBC is not being transferred to SDK FRANCO. SDK does not possess ownership of KGBC and will never own KGBC. There will never be any form of control transfer between the license holder of KGBC and SDK Franco. Ownership and rebroadcasting rights are two distinctly separate issues. If I'm not mistaken KGBC was sold about a year ago.

In a highly publicized legal battle, the family drama surrounding Mr. Hector Guevara's divorce escalated for over 5 years, resulting in his significant defeat in a civil case against his ex-wife. It appears that both parties are currently under investigation by the FCC, and no progress will occur until this investigation concludes. I believe it will be quite some time before we observe any developments related to applications associated with Centro Cristiano or Mr. Hector Guevara.

Yeah, it was pretty obvious that the Guevara divorce was playing a role in the delayed translator transfers. I strongly suspect Gow Media has taken KFNC off the market for the time being, as the two translators were going to be part of the overall package. Question is whether they will wait out a resolution, or unload 97.5 by itself, or possibly just keep going with the SportsTalk format.

If anyone has the link to court or FCC documents about the Guevara situation, it would be appropriate to post them Right now, we have a mix of facts and suppositions in this thread that invites closing the whole thing until we have some verifiable data.

Once again, it appears that you have not considered your words before typing. I presume that more than half a million dollars likely remains with KTWL, and they will eventually commence broadcasting. I find it highly unlikely that the team at Power 105.3 FM arbitrarily decided to add KTWL to their station ID for no reason. I'm not an employee and therefore can't provide insight into why the ID hasn't been changed. However, I'm open to discussing factual information that is likely already available to the public.
