It seems as though it will never turn. We're just running along the bottom.

It's sure beginning to seem that way.

Caught a slight taste of the future last Friday... coming off a sunspot spike from Wednesday... lots of traffic on the bands and stations/places I hadn't heard before. Back to crummy conditions on Saturday though.

Due to the weak economy, the sun laid off most of its spots. ;D

Just so happens that a great website dealing with all things Solar and propagational shares this topic's title: SolarCycle24 from VE3EN in Ontario, Canada. A great one-stop for checking on what band conditions might be based on solar activity.

Re: Solar cycle 24 in Holland E.U.

My brother had between 1975 and 1978 a VW Beetle with whip middle on the roof. Which was
connected to a then illegal CB-AM set . And one could hear American truckers everyday [!]
But the strange thing is that it fell between a valley and a increase in sunspots. And sunspot 22
of 1990 the upsloop in 1987 and 1989 was already huge. Every band sparkled. But now.
The sun is dead friends.

Know what? The dying of the ionosphere was anounced in a Startrek movie with the probe
and the whales .. !
