Soliciting assistance in New Broadcast Studio

I think some of you may know me from previous stations in Allston and Dorchester. For the last 2.5 years, I've been working in East Boston with an organization called Zumix[zumix.org], which does after-school programs for youth. I started a station here called Zumix Radio, Part 15 on 1630 and streaming at Zumix.org.

We have been given the rights by the City of Boston to develop a firehouse in Eastie and have been successful in fundraising to the extent that it seems possible that ground may be broken in the spring.

I have the responsibility for designing the new radio station in the firehouse and unlike all my previous efforts, this one does not have to be bare bones. To be candid, in the past I've done things somewhat by the seat of my pants and for this effort, I would really like to have the informed advice of people with professional studio build-out experience.

I think we're doing good work in youth training and education and putting some good shows on the air.
I am asking anyone in the radio community who would like to support this effort to contact me.

Thanks for your help,

Steve Provizer

Look up the listing for Loud & Clean-Randolph.
That's where you're most likley to find Grady Moates.
He's "The Master."
